Hp Laptop start up support please?

I need help with my laptop. its an hp not sure what kind but i just turned it off next time i tried it won't start up. It gives me 2 options Satrt computer normaly( if choosen will go to microsoft laoding page and shut down in abut 30 sec.) . OR start up with startup repair( if choosen runs a test for about 5 min. and says the problem cannot be atomaticly fixed. I have no resore points and have treid other things PLEASE HELp.
