Home & Away character?

this is wrecking my head!! there was a character in Home & Away, in the 90's, an Asian boy who lived in the caravan park, we're talking around the time Pippa had red hair, after Tom died, I think Jack lived there too and Curtis was in it ... for some reason I've a feeling he was into cycling?? This has just started annoying me since I've heard of a place in Vietnam called Tai Nguyen because i could swear that was the actor's name, but all my googling has failed to source him!! Can anyone remember the character I'm talking about??
