How to talk to a guy when you're shy?

The reason why you don't want to talk to him is because u don't want him to notice that u like him but he knos b/c u never talk to him plus you should just start out with greetings that u say to your friends like Yo! whats up?!?!?! or u can ask him "y don't u ever talk to me?"
